YOU WERE MADE TO SERVE

because God has served us in Christ, we love to serve others.

We believe God has given everyone special and unique gifts and graces (skill and abilities) with which they can serve one another, the Twin Cities, and the world. Countless people have found deep meaning and fulfillment through identifying and using their spiritual gifts to serve others. We want to encourage and equip you to do just that!

TCW Ministry Teams

  • Welcome Team
    • We want everyone and anyone who comes to church on Sunday to be greeted warmly and find everything set up and ready for worship. Our Welcome Team does these two very important things. All you need is the ability to take things off of our trailer and set them up in the school, and the ability to say "Hello!" as people come to worship. If you'd like more info, contact Leah
  • Worship Team
    • We believe the worship experience should be focused on Christ, musically rich, and free from distractions. Our Worship Team includes musicians as well as audio/visual volunteers who all work together to help our services go smoothly. If you'd like to learn more about this team, contact Bernard
  • Children's Team
    • We love kids! And, we know God loves kids too. So, we labor to have a safe, friendly, Christ-centered children's ministry. Our Children's Team ensures we have childcare and Sunday School available for kids (ages 0 to 10) on Sundays, and they also ensure we host fun family events occasionally. If you'd like more info on this team, contact Hana
  • Security Team
    • Trinity Church Wayzata has a Security Team to help create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone who gathers to worship, serve, and grow in faith. Their purpose is not fear-driven but faith-driven—protecting people so ministry can happen freely and without distraction. By preparing for emergencies, monitoring facilities, and coordinating with local authorities when needed, the team helps ensure that our focus on the gospel remains unhindered and that every person can worship and serve with peace of mind. If you'd like info on this team, email Tony
  • Youth Team
    • We believe teenagers play a vital role in the life of our church; and we believe helping them grow spiritually and gain a solid foundation before heading off to college is critically important. Therefore, our Youth Team works hard to ensure we have opportunities for our youth to connect, grow, and serve together. If you'd like more info on this team, email Pastor Christopher
  • Women's Team
    • We want the women who attend our church, and women in the area too, to know they always have a place and a people who cares about them. Our Women's Team works to design and host fun Connect Events where relationships can be built and genuine community can be enjoyed.  If you'd like to know more about this team, email Sarah
  • Men's Team
    • Studies show one of the greatest needs American men have these days is real friends. We believe they need much more than that; but we also long for the men of our church and of our community to have opportunities to connect and build friendships. This is what our Men's Team does. They design and host Connect Events where men can build friendships and be encouraged. If you'd like information about this team, email Brooks
  • Outreach Team
    • Part of our vision is to participate in the renewal of society. Therefore, we're always on the hunt for ways we can be a blessing to the western suburbs and improve people's quality of life. We want to make the Kingdom of God visible in our midst. If you want to help our church do this, contact Bernard.
  • Community Groups Team
    • If you are a fan and proponent of small group ministry, join our Community Groups team and help plan the studies our groups will do and discern ways we can help more of our people join, and thrive in, a Community Group. Contact Ben
  • Admin Team
    • Do you like doing back-office work and behind the scenes planning and prepping for events? And/or, do you like clerical work, keeping records, and ensuring everyone is accounted for? We'd love for you to join our Admin Team. Contact Laurie
  • Leadership Team
    • Although we are non-denominational, we operate with Presbyterian church governance. That means we are led by Elders and Deacons who are nominated by the congregation, trained by the pastor, and ordained by the church.  These offices are only open to those who have been members for at least one year. If you'd like more information about our Leadership team, email Pastor Matt

SERVING THE TWIN CITIES

Our Outreach Coordinator has been developing partnerships and identifying opportunities for TCW members and attenders to have a positive impact on the Twin Cities.

FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN

Currently, we're serving regularly with Feed My Starving Children.

WORLD MISSIONS

We are currently prayerfully seeking to partner with people serving on the foreign mission field. As the Lord connects us with missionaries we can support, we will post information about those connections here. Stay tuned...
