Starting the last Sunday in February, we’re launching a monthly parenting group at our home, meeting from 12 to 2 PM on the last Sunday of each month for three months: February 23, March 30, and April 27. Childcare is available upon request. We’ll be reading Shepherding a Child’s Heart by Ted Tripp, one of the best Christian parenting books available.

This book goes beyond behavior management, focusing on the heart behind a child’s actions. Tripp emphasizes that real change comes from addressing the root of behavior through grace-filled, consistent discipline, helping children understand the "why" behind obedience and cultivating a love for God.

Each month, we’ll read a third of the book and meet to discuss it over a shared meal. I’ll facilitate conversations on practical, biblical parenting principles with a focus on real-life application. This will be a time to dig into the book’s insights and encourage one another.
